collections

The other day I added a new camera to our collection. So I thought I'd just share a little shot of the film cameras I own. The Voigtlander , Sprocket Rocket, Rolleiflex Carl Zeiss F 3.5, Pentax K1000, polaroid Land 100, Agfa Sillette and Fuji Instax Mini are such differnt cameras but each have their own little charm. I'm especially excited about developing some 120 film with our Rolleiflex.

French countryside in Film

This is a collection of shots taken from north to south of France away from the big cities. Once again, I have enjoyed the end results of new film and new (1950's) cameras. The grain, the blur the colour.

Paris in Film

This is a selection of our favourite photos from a few different cameras we have picked up along our ventures. This is Paris. We spent a total of 7 weeks around this beautiful city. It's somewhere I will always call home. I was thinking about leaving out alot of blurry shots, but stuff it! I kinda like them. When you buy an old camera you take a gamble on what it'll be like. I was surprised to see the Agfa gave rounded edges and I was so frustrated when the Voitlander shutter would jam everytime I used it. These are the results, like it or not.

the sea

Yesterday I got some negatives back from the shop. I took my Sprocket Rocket out on a little boating trip with two good friends of mine. I love the richness in colour that this camera gives. I am yet to use a scanner that allows me to show the exposed sprocket holes but either way I love the shots this camera helps me take.

As promised yesterday, here are a few shots taken recently with my sprocket rocket which I had developed this week. I'm love this camera the more and more I use it. I look forward to traveling with it by my side.
